MATH LAB.

So if you are enrolled in a math class at BYU, there is a math lab, where there are students working who will help you with your math homework. This concept is not foreign to me because I have taken chemistry classes and there is a chemistry lab that is the same basic concept, but the math lab totally ownss the chem lab. Just sayin. There is a inorganic chemistry lab, and an organic chemistry lab with different TAs in each of them, and they are totally helpful and everything. Not hating on the chem lab...

But I was amazed by the math lab. Those people are insane! You walk in and put your name on a list and then one of the workers will come and call your name and then they can help you with like anything. ANYTHING. Like and it doesn't take them a while to try and figure out what you are doing. They are just like oh, you do this. I think what amazes me most, is that they aren't TAs for a certain class, they are just there to help with any math class! haha so impressive!

Did I mention that I love my job where I can post on my blog, listen to music, eat my lunch, do homework, and play spider solitaire?

Back in Provo,

Has it really been since June 28th (Allison's Birthday!) since I last blogged. How awful am I? It's so overwhelming, when you get so far behind and you don't even know where to begin. How can I blog again when it will take me weeks to get caught up...

Well you have to begin somewhere! This Summer was so amazing. When I first arrived in Florida it was so exciting. There were so many things to do, work was fun, and I could get into the parks whenever I wanted for free! There were so many people from BYU in the Disney College Program, and it was so fun to get to know all of them because now that I am back in Provo, I can keep in touch with them.

The excitement wore off for a while and for about three weeks I was really unhappy. I was working six days a week, and the one day a week that I had off, I felt like I had to get things done rather than go out with people and have a lot of fun. One of my best friends, Laura, went with me, but our schedules were not compatible at all, so we rarely saw each other even though we were roommates!

My Summer turned around when I remembered that I had come to Florida to have fun, not to make money. So I started giving shifts away to my coworkers and began to have fun again. It made such a huge difference. I began going to the parks like all the time and made so many new friends.

Laura never really got over not enjoying it, which is a shame because I loved my Summer so much. But when her parents came for a visit in July she drove home with them! I was sad to lose my friend and roommate, but we had plans to room together in the Fall, so I figured it wasn't that huge of a deal.

All in all my Summer was not what I had expected it to be, but it was so worth it. People ask me all the time if I would do it again. And my answer is, I don't know. I don't think I would personally do it again, just because I already had that experience and I want to do something new now, but that doesn't mean I don't recommend it, because I totally do. The one thing I would say is that it is a huge convenience to have your own car rather than trying to take the buses. That was a bit of a pain.

I feel like I spent the perfect amount of time in Florida. I loved it, but was ready to get back to Provo. It is really fun to be like yeah... I worked there. And I feel like I know so much more about the place than I did before. Before I knew that there were four parks.... and it was in Florida... and that about it. haha. But I know so much more now. I can't wait until I have my own kids and I am able to take them there.

August 13th I moved out of my apartment in Vista Way and caught a flight back to good ole' Salt Lake City. Even though there were two weeks before school began, I had a new job lined up in Provo, and my boss here wanted me to begin work on August 16th, not enough time to go home although I would have liked to.

Even though I wasn't able to go home, my parents had a trip planned out to Utah! It was so fun to have them in town. My mom and dad, sister Kelli and I were all able to run the Top of Utah Half marathon together! It was so fun to race with my dad and Kelli because it is usually just my mom and I! The race itself for me was definitely not the best. I've gotten so out of shape. It was really hard running in Florida because it was so hot and I was so busy all the time. It's so frustrating how much time and work it takes to get into shape, and then you lose it so quickly. But I'll get back there. I am signed up to run a Ragnar Relay in Las Vegas October 22nd and 23rd and the Provo Halloween Half Marathon on October 30th. That should be enough motivation for me to get going again!

I am currently working at the copy center in the basement of the Abraham Smoot Administration Building. It's so easy, especially because I have experience working with copiers when I worked at Office Depot in high school. I sit at a desk and bill departments of the school, answer phones, make an occasional copy, and do homework! This is my first time working and taking classes in college. I didn't think that it was going to be a big deal, but working 20 hours a week is a lot! I did luck out with a job that will allow me to get some homework done, but even so, it's a bit stressful. School has only been in session for a week and I'm struggling.

This semester I am taking Organic Chemistry, Physics for science majors, Introductory Sociology, Linear Algebra, Judaism and the Gospel, and LDS Marriage and Family Preparation.

Mostly my chemistry, physics, and math class are killing me. I think it is because those classes are the kind of classes where you have daily homework, so they really keep me super busy. I'm hoping that once the semester goes on, I will be able to get into a regular routine and not be quite as stressed out.

Today is Labor Day! aka- no work or school! I needed a break.

Miss you all :]

Wednesday!

Everytime I've gone to the gym the past week every cardio machine has been in use! So most days I was like oh I guess that means I can't work out... and then I didn't. So bad! Again when I went the tiny gym was packed! So I finally decided I would run outside. It really amazes me how quickly you can get out of shape. I only ran two miles this morning, but I was so tired when I finished. It doesn't help that the heat index was 108. But that's besides the point. I'm make a new commitment to run at least five days a week. I am currently registered to run a half marathon in August and a full in September, so I need to get back into the swing of things.

I had yesterday off which was a great break. I didn't do anything super big, but it was nice to relax. I went to Walmart, which was totally needed. I had like a potato and some carrots left. Pretty much nothing. Since I hadn't been in so long I had to buy so much! I spent over $180. But I'm hoping that will hold me over until my parents come visit :] It's such a pain here to go shopping because you have to take a bus! But I bought so much that I couldn't take the bus home, luckily my roommate with a car came and picked me up! We hung out most of the day and I cleaned our apartment (it needed it...)

I have today off too! It's great! I'm going to go to the pool soon and read the book I'm reading right now.

I'm not really far enough into it to totally recommend it, but I really like it so far. One of the authors, Greg Mortenson, came to BYU this past semester and spoke. He was a great speaker. I love summertime when you can read books for fun!

Laura was transferred to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique because stock was hurting her knee. I'm quite jealous of her job! She gets to the do the cute girls hair and talk about how Cinderella asked her to come work for her! So cute! She's actually been sick for the past week but she's feeling better. She's leaving town tomorrow for five days! I don't know what I'm going to do with myself! Haha kidding.

I've just been working and going to the parks. It's really fun to have unlimited fun at the fun! I'm starting to get to know where things are.

Me, Bekka, and Clint in front of the Sorcerer's Hat at Hollywood Studios!

haha so fun to see characters! Pooh and Tigger!

Me and Bekka in front of the tree at Animal Kingdom!

Jessi, Me and Mike in front of Mount Everest at Animal Kingdom. Expedition Everest is great. Just great. haha.
In the very front row is Eric, Laura and Me on Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom. On really busy nights they will squeeze three people to a row. It was tight...
Star Wars weekends in Hollywood Studios!
Sarah, Laura and I at the Indiana Jones show in Hollywood Studios! It's been a fun month. I still miss Texas though... My parent are coming to visit July 6th though! They'll be here for my mom's birthday! I'm trying to decide what we should do to celebrate!

why i am so bad at blogging.

Umm. I'm not sure if there is even a real answer to that question. haha.

Seriously. I cannot believe my time here in Florida is already half-way over. It is seriously insane! It's already June 21st. So crazy! But it's good. The first month that I was here in Orlando I was having trouble adjusting. I thought that everything was just going to be super fun, but it was harder than I expected. I was working all the time and had trouble finding friends that had the same standards as I did. I was really homesick and wanted to come home really bad, but I am so glad that I didn't. This past month has been what I came here for. I have made some awesome friends and am liking work for the most part. It's so fun to just go to the parks whenever you want. It's nice to be able to go and not feel obligated to stay the whole day, just a couple of hours here and there. It is really hot here. Like really hot. My body is going through whiplash, Houston, Provo, Orlando, Provo. Haha. We also have thunderstorms like all the time here. It's so great being a lifeguard.... we close pretty much everyday; But I have to act like it is the most horrible thing ever.. haha.

It's been a filled weekend, Saturday was my sister, Kelli's Birthday! So exciting! I'm so sad that I wasn't in Utah to celebrate with her! I decided that when I get back in August we are going to go to a Birthday dinner :]

Saturday was also my cousin, David's Birthday. He turned nineteen! On Saturday he went through the temple and was set apart as a missionary for our church. On Wednesday he will enter the Missionary Training Center and be gone for 2 years serving the people of Sacramento, California. I am so excited for him. It's going to be a great experience!

Yesterday was Father's Day as most people know... and I just wanted to send a shout out to my awesome Dad even though I don't think he reads this... But anyways! I have an awesome Dad. He is one of the nicest people I know. I honestly can't remember a time where he ever got angry with me or raised his voice at me. He does so much for our family and I love him so much! Happy Father's Day!

Expect updates with some awesome pictures coming soon! I miss everyone!

Hello Readers!

Sorry that I haven't updated in forever but I've seriously been insanely busy. I took finals and they went pretty well. It was so amazing to finish my freshman year at BYU. I liked my time there, but I'm glad it is over. I really need a break. And I would say that working at Disney World could be considered a pretty good break :]
I took my finals on a Friday, the same day that my mom came in town. It was so exciting because I hadn't seen my mom since Christmas Break! I went to the airport where my sister, Julie, sister-in-law Amy, and nephew Jack were all waiting! Then all of us went to downtown Salt Lake City and checked into our hotel! Kelli joined us later as we went to Buca di Beppo to carb load! The next morning my mom, Amy and I got up super early and made our way to the start line of the SLC Marathon. The race was huge. There were like ten thousand racers.
It was a really hard race for me. I usually enjoy the first ten miles, and then the pain sets in, but not this time. I was feeling awful from the very beginning. But it was such an amazing race for me because even though it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, I felt so amazing. I finished in 1:59:36... my goal was to finish in under 2 hours. I just barely made it and it was such a thrill! I don't know what is wrong with me, maybe I am just an emotional person, but I was super emotional at the finish line! After the race we all headed back to my sister, Kelli's apartment. The next was just a lot of fun. I mostly just hung out at my sister's place with my mom.
We hung out and just had a lot of fun. We went and did some shopping, watched movies, and hung out with family. I saw my aunt and uncle which was fun because they are leaving in June to go to France on a mission for our church. I then went back to Provo to say by to the friends I had made my freshman year of college!

It was good to see them and I really hope we keep in touch with them next year!
That weekend we spent some time at a different aunt's house and babysat my nephew! He is so cute. We went bowling twice because he absolutely loves it! And he's pretty good. He totally beat me both times! Buttt.. I do have to say that he got bumpers and I didn't! haha.

On Sunday morning I flew to Houston and got to hang out with my Dad for like a hour. It was so good. I hadn't seen him since Christmas either. I missed him! I then caught a plane to Orlando, met up with my friend Laura and then we stayed at a hotel Sunday night. We woke up really early to catch a bus to Vista Way apartments to check into the Disney College Program! It was so fun. We got assigned to our apartment and moved in! The apartment isn't that great. But 2,800 people all from the disney college program live there and it's a really fun social place!

After we got moved in we went onto Disney property and got fingerprinted for background checks. Tuesday morning we got went and registered some information. They gave us a lot of information and then checked us for the "Disney Look." Pretty much just make sure you don't have too many piercings or tattoos and such. Well one of the requirements is that you don't have any extreme hairstyles or colors. Well apparently mine was too intense because they made me dye it. So now my hair is officially brown! Wahoo! Seriously Disney is super hardcore. If you do anything wrong they will kick you out of the program. Good thing I'm not going to do anything crazy or scandalous! Anyways! I also had a swim test for lifeguarding and I passed! Very excited. I found out that I am working at Port Orleans Resort. I will move around a little bit, but that is my main spot! I start training there tomorrow! On wednesday we got our passes that let us into the parks as much as we want! So of course we have been going as much as possible! We've gone to Magic Kingdom and Epcot so far... but we will make it everywhere eventually! Here are some of the friends that I've made so far!

It's been fun to meet people, but I'm glad that I came with my friend with Laura! I will be posting more about my adventures at Disney World! Miss you all!!

Updates.

So much going on! Yes, if you were wondering, it did snow again last night. Yes I realize that it is April 13th. This has got to stop! But that's okay! Finals week is upon us! Today I had my last classes! No more classes until Fall! Reading days start tomorrow. Hopefully I will be ready for all of my finals on Friday and I can just go ahead and take them. It's going to be great. I got a feeling... mhhmmm. Hahah. Anywaysss. I began packing yesterday. It is so insane! So. Insane. It's really weird to see my walls bare. But it's getting me more and more excited for the semester to be over, to have a week with my family and then be in Florida! Luckily my sister lives in Utah and I'm going to store my things there over the Summer. Very convenient. She's so nice to put up with me and let me store my stuff there!
Saturday night I decided to go on a run because I really needed to. I was planning on running six miles but as I began running I felt so great. I decided I could go further. I ran eleven miles. It was great. By the end I could feel some blisters coming on, but I wasn't too worried because I get blisters on my feet a fair amount but they are never that bad. They usually go away within a day or so. But when I got home after my run I took my shoes off to see bloody socks! The blister on my left foot was awful. I could barely walk on it. Here is a picture of it. This was taken on Sunday so it was even worse the night before.

So yeah there's on my right foot too but that one doesn't bother me at all. Sorry my feet are gross. And sorry if that grossed you out. haha. But yeah I'm just really hoping that I feel fine by Saturday because I am running the Salt Lake Half Marathon. And that would stink if I was in pain the entire time! So this Saturday my goal is to run the 13.1 miles until two hours. I'm not sure I can do, but I am going to try!

my weekend.

Was kind of crazy, in a lazy kind of way. On Friday night went to my sister's house to hang out with her and to get away from the dorms! It was great! I spent all of saturday at her place too! We watched General Conference on tv. General Conference happens twice a year and it is where the prophet and leaders of our church talk to us. It's four hours on Saturday and four hours on Sunday. So I was able to watch those at my sisters! Saturday night I went home to get new clothes to wear. I also checked the mail and found that the new phone I ordered came in! I ordered it on ebay for $10. My blackberry finally bit the dust :[

As you can see, it has been through a lot... So now I have this phone until June when I get a new one. It is taking me a while to adjust to not having a qwerty keyboard! On Sunday I awoke to find that it snowed. AGAIN. That's like three times this week. It srsly needs to stop! It is now officially April, which means the snow has got to stop!
But it's okay because I will be out of here in three weeks! This is my last week of classes! Next week starts finals! And to make sure that I am productive, I have deactivated my facebook account. Even though I only did it yesterday, I am already feeling like I am so much more productive. I have gotten so much done!! I feel great. Last night I registered for my Fall classes! I am taking:
Chem 351M (Organic Chemistry for Majors)
Math 313 (Elementary Linear Algebra)
Phscs 121 (Principles of Physics 1)
Soc 111 (Introductory Sociology)
Rel C 355 (Judaism and the Gospel)

It's only 13 credits which is less than I have been taking, but I think it's a good load because these classes are really fundamental for me so I really need to focus on them!

11 days until my mom is here and my semester is over! and then 12 days until the Salt Lake Half Marathon. I am determined to break two hours! I was running a lot until I starting getting the first signs of shin splints. I've been taking it easy for the past five days. I also got new shoes so that should help. I think that tomorrow I'm going to try running and see how it goes!

Confession.

I love the biggest loser.

I don't follow it religiously or watch it every week, but when I do watch it I am so emotional. Like what is wrong with me? I bawl practically the entire episode. These people have struggled their entire lives with weight, and seeing them at the end of the episode when they see how much they have lost.... I like lose it.
This is the reason I rarely watch this show with people, because they're like what is wrong with you? I'm not really sure. But I love this show. Even though I don't have a hundred of pounds to lose, this show is so motivating for me: To become more active and lose the twenty pounds I do have to lose!

Seriously to me... This people are such an inspiration!

That is insane! I love it. It makes me cry a lot....

Weekend Continued!

Some how I got the pictures to work. I didn't do anything different... maybe my internet was just lame earlier! haha. So on saturday we went to the Festival of Colors. It was at the Hindu Temple in Spanish Fork. I had imagined how it was going to be... and this was not it. I wasn't expecting a legit temple. But it was. You can see it in the background of this picture.
So you go to the Temple and people are throwing like colored powder. I can't really think of a better way to describe it. It's not paint. Anyways it was way fun.

There was so much stuff in the air. It was seriously crazy. There were people everywhere. My friend Alyssa has been helping putting the event together and they said that 40,000 people were projected to attend.

There was a band and they were singing the name of the Hindu God over and over and everyone was singing along and dancing. There were large of people crowd surfing. You wouldn't know when they are coming and all of sudden there is someone on top of you falling everywhere. Totally dangerous... but fun!
Even though Spanish Fork is only 20 minutes away from Provo, the crowds were so huge that it took us hours to get to and from the place! We parked at least a mile away and had to walk. I was not expecting this to be such a huge deal, but it was great!

After the Festival of Colors we came home and took a much needed shower. Feeling clean, Laura and I and some other friends headed up to the canyon to have (another) bonfire. When we got there, Jake began unloaded the wood out of the back of the car, but when he put the key in the trunk and turned it the key snapped in half!
It was Laura's car and Jake felt so bad. Haha. He called AAA and they fixed it, but it took a long time! In the mean time we had an awesome fire and I had a smores! Delicious!

When the fire died out and Laura had a new key made, we decided that Denny's hot chocolate was needed.

All in all a fun weekend in Provo!

I'm back!

Alright blogging world.
I am back.

My semester is finally coming to an end. I have no more tests or assignments due until finals, which is very exciting because these past couple of months have been very stressful. This past week has been great though. I've been working my booty off, and it is finally starting to pay off. I had 2 chemistry tests (different classes) and a microbiology test this week. I got a 100 on one of chemistry tests!! Amazing, that is the first time I've gotten a 100 on a test since I have been in college. I also got a 93 on my microbiology test which is bomb because I have been doing awful in that class. I found a group of people that are in like 3 of my classes that I enjoy studying with, so it's been great in boosting my grades up!

So much has happened since I decided that I needed a break from blogging. I actually changed my major. This was the first semester that I actually took a microbiology test. I think that the overall topics are very interesting, but when you dig deep into the details, I pretty much can't stand it. So I knew that I didn't want to do microbiology, but I was having a hard time deciding what I actually did want to do. I'm in a couple of chemistry classes and realized how much I enjoy chemistry. It is part of everything we do. Like serious. Chemistry is the central science. Everything revolves around chemistry, and I think that it is so interesting. I also decided that I can see myself teaching. I think that I'm fun enough, and I'm patient enough, and I really do think that I would enjoy teaching. So I changed my major to chemistry education. What I would like to do is teach basic high school chemistry. I've even thought about doing Teach for America when I graduate if that works out for me. Next semester I start organic chemistry. Hopefully I love it!

This past weekend has been absolutely insane and fun :] I kind of realized that I have been a bit antisocial this semester. I just hang out with the girls that I am comfortable and haven't really made as many friends as I would have liked. So I decided that that needed to change. I decided that anytime someone invited me to something I was going to say yes if I could, so I ended up doing so many things this weekend!

Friday night my hall had an activity with one of the boys halls. We drove up the canyon and had a bonfire. We played a game of football (which I am awful at), roasted marshmallows, and had the most intense trust fall ever! hah. It was way fun.
So I tried uploading pictures from the bonfire onto this post but it is totally not working... have things changed since the last time I updated?? lol. Well look at my facebook for pictures!
After the bonfire we came back to the dorms and some of us girls went to the guys dorms and we played a game of basketball. It was actually really fun. That was one of the things that I actually didn't really want to do, but it ended up being really fun. I'm pretty awful at basketball, but I'm working on my skill and getting better... haha. After we played basketball we went inside and played dumb games, but fun :]
When us girls got back to the dorms we talked for over an hour about the night... and the boys. hahah. Good times.

Saturday morning I woke up early and Kate, Hannah, Jessica, and I headed up to Salt Lake City. Kate had to "observe nature" for 2 hours for her biology class. So the zoo seemed like a good idea. Who even knew SLC had a zoo? hahah. Well I thought about it a while, and the zoo was $9 and I am officially broke, but I still wanted to be apart of the like excursion so I decided to drive up with them, and while they were in the zoo I ran! I'm actually training for full marathon. I've already registered for it. I am going to run the Top of Utah Marathon. It's in Logan, Utah on September 18th of this year. I've always wanted to run a marathon, and I always said I'll do it sometime, but when I am ever going to be as young and spry and I am now? hahahd. So I've been running a lot lately, but I'm getting bored just running about Provo, and Saturday's run was 9 miles, so it was great to run in Salt Lake! A different scene was definitely needed! When I got back they were getting out of the zoo... perfect timing! We drove back to Provo while jamming to Hanson... did you know that they are still coming out with new music... well they totally are!
When we got back I showered and then we went to lunch... I have the most embarrassing story. It seriously may be my most embarrassing moment. If you can think of something I've done more embarrassing I totally need you to comment and tell me because I can't think of one. We were all at lunch and a friend named Chris had joined us. I don't really know him... so that's why this was so embarrassing lol. We were all eating and having a great time when Hannah told this story about how when she was in second grade she pretending this book was her favorite book the entire year so that people would think she was cool. For some reason I thought this was like the funniest thing ever.... I had just taken a drink of water... And couldn't control myself. I spewed water EVERYWHERE. I got it on Jessica's clothes, the table, my phone. Pretty much everywhere. It was great. At that point I still had water in my mouth, but couldn't stop laughing because of what had just happened. It was great. After this occurrence, lunch was very awkward. It was amazing!

The rest of my weekend will be in the next post.... sooo.. to be continued!!!

Spontaneity!

Seriously. One of my favorite things is when out of the blue I do something totally unexpected!

On Saturday afternoon I was hanging out at my sister's apartment (Kelli) just doing some laundry. She called my other sister (Julie) to see what was up and when she was coming to visit us! When she didn't answer Kelli was like it's a three day weekend, let's go visit her. At first I kind of laughed, but then I was like why not? And we packed up and drove up to Rexburg, Idaho to see Julie! We totally surprised her. She had absolutely no idea. It was so fun to surprise her! I'm here right now and it is so fun! I love being with my sisters!

Pictures to come soon!

Christmas Break Continued.

My nephew, Jack, LOVES bowling. On every single one of our ipods we have the bowling application downloaded so he can play. So when he gets the opportunity to bowl in real life, he is in heaven! It was really fun to watch him. He gets so excited!
It was really fun to have most of my family there (minus Neil and Meredith... you'll find out why soon :])

Even when he missed every pen he would jump up and down and run back. Cute kid for sure :]

So my sister-in-law Meredith was scheduled to have a C-section on the 28th, but my new nephew had a different plan in mind. She went into labor in the middle of the night and he was born the morning on December 23. On Christmas Eve we were able to go to the hospital and visit Neil, Meredith and the baby!

They named him John. He is the sweetest little baby; he rarely cries! And seriously. Newborns are so tiny. I think you forget until you hold one again.
Grace was very happy to see her mom. She had been staying with us since the night before the baby was born. Good story actually. We got everyone ready and went to the hospital. We walked in a Grace ran and jumped in the bed with her mom and Meredith goes where are her pants? And we were like well she's just wearing a dress (it's longer than it looks in this picture... but pretty short nonetheless). And Meredith is like.... That is not a dress. Hahahahaha. Funny stuff.

While I was home I also celebrated my 19th birthday! It was quite the party :]

It was really fun, but it's funny how as you get older... birthday's aren't as big of a deal. I think I'm getting to that age. lol.

While at home I was also reunited with a good friend named Justin. lol. It was fun to spend time with him again.

The majority of Christmas break was spent watching Jack open presents. Which was fun. He was so excited and loved opening things!

On the other hand, we tried to get Grace excited about presents and tried to get her to open some, but she wasn't exactly into it. She was content with playing with a lint brush roller from someone's stocking!

Later Christmas Day Meredith and the baby got released from the Hospital and we took Grace home. We also were able to have Christmas dinner there and hold John some more :]

We had another present opening session with Neil and Meredith. Chad and Amy gave them a wagon which Grace loved and sat in for a longgg time in the living room!

The next night back at my parent's place we had a gingerbread house making contest. Boys against girls!

Justin came over to help the guys team!

Here are the finished products! Girls on the left and the guys on the right.
We decided that the girls was prettier, but that the guys were more creative because come on, let's face it... that castle is pretty awesome.

While I was back home me and my friends Allison and Lauren went shopping at the Galleria! Which was so much fun! I loved seeing you girls!

I got locked out of my house in the freezing cold without a jacket. That was awesome. hahahaha.

I got to see a friend named Laekynn while I was home. Sooo fun. We went shopping and I got the green plaid jacket you will see in the next pictures :]

New Years Eve was really fun. We went to the Elementary School Parking lot across the street from my house and shot off fireworks! I have to admit. I did not stay up until midnight. I went to bed early... for reasons you will soon learn!

New Year's Day, my mom, Chad and I woke up early and went and ran the Texas (Half) Marathon. SO much fun. And I'm being serious. While you are running it you hurt and it's hard. But it is so much fun. I loved it. I have already signed up to run the Salt Lake City Half Marathon on April 17th!

Aren't those medals something? hahaha.

Anyways. That was pretty much my Christmas break. It was so much fun. I didn't really want to come back to school, not going lie. But once I got back here to Provo, everything came back. I was able to see all the girls on my hall again. It was so fun. I am now the proud owner of a pink snuggie thanks to my friend Kelli. We have a cute picture of the two of us holding the snuggie.... but she would kill me if I posted it. She seems to have something against the picture. I'm not exactly sure why.

Classes started this past week, and I can honestly say I'm excited for this semester. It's going to be a REALLLY hard semester, but it'll be okay. I didn't do very well this past semester, but I was transitioning. I know how it works now. I realize I need to work harder. And I am going to (I love that I say that at the beginning of every semester!) hahah but it is true.
